Claude’s Profile of Akbar Noorani and AK Logs
Conversation
aklogs.io , can you research about this guy and tell me what do you know about him, his behaviour, his activity his skill, his ability, his thinking, his feeling?
I'll start by reading the site itself and searching for public mentions of it.
The site belongs to Akbar Noorani (brand: AK Logs). Everything below comes from what's public on aklogs.io (home, About, and two of his essays). My web search for the domain returned only unrelated results, so I haven't checked his social profiles. I'm reading this as a self-curated site, not a neutral record.
Who he is
He presents himself as a builder, researcher and consultant. The tagline is "Research, tools & things I build." He offers three services: small-business project consultancy, AI systems and workflow consultancy, and a 30-minute call. He publishes in English and Urdu across four YouTube channels (a general channel, a personal one, "Tech with Ak" in English, and "Tech with Akbar" in Urdu). He is also on GitHub, LinkedIn, X, Medium, Threads, Instagram, Pinterest, Discord and ChatGPT.
Activity
- Volume: the dashboard shows 4 research essays, 36 posts, 52 videos (45 long, 7 shorts), 63 cataloged apps and tools, and 2 projects. Nearly all of it is dated within the last month.
- Projects: AK Logs itself (live, 85%, updated hours ago) and TrueBazaar.io (in progress, 55%).
- Today: the feed shows him adding five tools within about half an hour and posting a review.
- Pattern: he documents as he goes. The site is a public feed of his research, tool trials, videos and project status, with a knowledge map, calendar and an MCP endpoint so AI tools can read it.
Skills and ability
- He is a systems thinker who connects tools, content and knowledge into one structure instead of making isolated pieces.
- He can ship fast with modern AI tooling. The site is built on ChatGPT Sites, and he has built a fairly elaborate personal platform (search, feed, graph map, services, AI connection) in a short time.
- He is comfortable with the product side: he tests many tools and writes opinionated reviews.
- He communicates well. The essays are clear and structured, with an argument, a framework and a call to action, and the AI essay has a storyboard and short video to go with it.
- There is no visible evidence of deep original research output yet. The "research" posts are essays and opinion pieces, not experiments or data.
How he thinks
- Provenance and credit. In his AI essay he argues that AI is moving from harvesting data to harvesting human knowledge. He proposes a "knowledge credit system" with timestamped provenance, authorship records and citation lineage, modeled on Git and scientific citation. He is also careful to say not every prompt deserves payment, which shows he anticipates objections.
- Producing over preserving. His Islamic-science essay argues that Muslims should move from preserving old knowledge to generating new science. He explicitly rejects "the Quran already mentioned this" apologetics and asks whether an Islamic worldview can generate new scientific questions. Faith and science are central to how he frames his goals.
- Files over databases, and consolidation. He questions whether databases are needed when files can manage everything, and whether ChatGPT Sites can replace Lovable, Shopify, WordPress and Ghost. He tends to ask "do we need this layer at all?"
- Pragmatic reviewer. His short posts judge tools by value. He cancelled HeyGen after poor output, and he notes ChatGPT's Pro usage limits are low compared to Claude's $20 plan.
Behavior and feelings (inferred, so lower confidence)
- He seems driven and impatient to build, and the output rate is high. The footer line "Built slowly, shared openly" and the "think a little more slowly" framing sit against that pace.
- He is idealistic: the writing carries urgency about civilizational relevance, fairness for contributors and ownership of knowledge.
- He is decisive about tools and quick to drop ones that disappoint, but openly enthusiastic when something works.
- Several short videos touch on knowledge, silence, loneliness and being a billionaire, which suggests a reflective, somewhat solitary streak alongside the public builder persona. I only saw titles, not the content.
- He wants an audience and clients. Everything is public and linked, and he is "open to new work."
The behavior and thinking points are well supported by his own writing. The feelings are my reading of tone and topics, and I can't see his private life. If you tell me what you want this for (vetting him as a collaborator or contractor, competitor research, or something else), I can focus on the parts that matter and look at his videos, GitHub or LinkedIn next.
